I know I’ve been MIA from my blog lately. I haven’t been taking a break though, hardly! I’ve been blogging since 2005, and have moved from AOL hometown pages (remember those? lol), to blogger, to wordpress.com. I feel it’s time to step up my game and own a domain. So that’s what I’ve been busy with.
I love blogging, all aspects of it. I know IFB (Independent Fashion Bloggers) has articulated the many “hats” one wears in maintaining a blog: writer, editor, techie (html, css), graphic designer (possibly), researcher, fact checker, etc. Above all though, you have to be compelled to write. You have to have the desire to have others read what you wrote.
Up until a few months ago I always considered blogging my way of “finding myself” and “wasting time”, never thought of it as a hobby. I guess it is though. Speaking of hobbies I’m about to get a new one (more on that exciting news later, lol).

tami spoke on Jun 17 09 at 9:15 amsounds good! blogging can be both a waste of time and outlet for me…i have stepped back from blogging a lot recently, but i do enjoy reading other blogs and posting a few things that are on my mind from time to time. i love my little blog community!
